My Predictions : AFC West

Besides San Diego this division is the worst in the league. There will only be one team making the playoffs and the other three may have the top three picks in the draft. Here is how I see it.

1. Chargers: They have the only real playoff quarterback in the division and their team has the most talent. They should be able to win this division easily and even if they struggle nine wins should get it done.

2. Broncos: I had to pick someone at number 2 and this is basically a three way tie for last place. I think they have more talent than the Chiefs and Raiders. If Brandon Marshall comes back and does the right thing I give them six wins.

3. Chiefs: I give them 4 or 5 wins and that will be better than the Raiders

4. Raiders: As bad as I would like to see Jamarcus Russell do well, I just don't see it happening with that team. He might have a shot to do something if he had one legitimate receiver. I give them 2-14 and they will struggle with that.

Kickoff Time

It took me a few weeks to get this site going but now I am ready. We will start with predictions from each division starting west and ending in the south because that's The Saints division. When I get to the NFC South I promise not to let my Saints bias get in the way of my prediction no matter how much I hate the Falcons. Tonight we will start with the AFC West.

The first pre season game is a good way to start a sports blog. Tonight the Titans and Bills square off in the Hall of Fame game. I will be watching for the first taste of a live game this year. I also will be checking out Vince Young because since this is pre season he should get a lot of work. I was sure he was going to be a great NFL quarterback after leaving Texas. I am still not sure what happened.

As days go by me and my staff ( me and my sister) will be adding some posts and links to give our page some flavor. I'll be starting with my predictions for each division as well as my top three sleeper teams. Of course The Saints will get special attention since that is the home team. This blog should be really cool once we get it all together.

P.S.
I don't care what his stats were. Derrick Thomas should have been in the Hall of Fame years ago. That guy was awesome.
